Picture legend:

Do you have a flair for something special? Then you’ve come to the right place!

We promote holistic, research-based learning in which the students (help) shape, experience and reflect. In concrete terms, this means: from the idea to the sketch and the prototype to a possible small series for sale, students will go through economic, technical and design phases. You learn to deal constructively with highlights, but also with setbacks and mistakes, to include new perspectives and then to continue successfully. Whenever possible, work is done across different courses, i.e. Wood technicians and product designers complement each other professionally in joint projects. In the current academic year, for example, containers, so-called refined and unconventional containers, are made from high-quality wood and other exciting materials. As a conclusion and highlight, the students are expected to tour the three cantons of Zug, Lucerne and Zurich in a shipping container that also serves as a shop.
