The Ishimbay Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan carried out an inspection of the observance of the housing rights of orphans and children left without parental care.

It was found that 7 persons from the number of orphans were left without parental care at a young age. They were recognized as needing better housing conditions and included in the register of persons subject to housing.

In violation of the legal requirements, they were not provided with housing. Young people were forced to live with friends or rent apartments.

In order to restore the violated rights of citizens, the prosecutor’s office sent a statement of claim to the court to impose on the district administration the obligation to provide orphans with housing.

After the intervention of the prosecutor’s office, the young people were provided with comfortable apartments.
