Work is being carried out on the streets of Bolshie Kamenshchiki, Simonovsky Val, Saykina, Velozavodskaya, Novospassky passage and Andropov avenue.
Improvement of the territory between Bolshiye Kamenshiki Street and Kolomenskaya metro station is planned to be completed by the end of the year.

Improvement is being carried out on Bolshie Kamenshchiki, Simonovskiy Val, Saykina, Velozavodskaya streets, Novospasskiy proezd and Andropov avenue (from Nagatinskaya embankment to Kolomenskaya metro station).
“The most important point on this section is the Kolomenskaya metro station,” said the deputy mayor. “A comfortable pedestrian space will be created near it: new pedestrian paths will be equipped, the sidewalk covering will be replaced, benches and modern lighting will be installed”.
Metro stations and public transport stops are becoming points of attraction for thousands of passengers, so they need high-quality improvement.
“Particular attention will be paid to the safety of pedestrians – it is planned to increase the number of pedestrian crossings, contrast lighting will be installed on some of the zebras,” stressed Petr Biryukov.
In addition, in the section from Bolshiye Kamenshchiki Street to the Kolomenskaya metro station, all overhead cable lines will be removed into the underground sewerage system. Its total length will be 11 kilometers. For the comfort of public transport passengers, about 40 outdated bus stops will be replaced with modern ones, where you can charge your mobile phone and connect to Wi-Fi.
At the intersection of Novospassky passage and 3rd Krutitsky lane, as well as Andropov Avenue and Nagatinskaya Street, two new tram platforms will be equipped. They will be located on the same level with the floor of the trams, thanks to which it will be convenient for people with disabilities, the elderly and parents with children to enter the carriages.
For those who prefer two-wheeled transport, there will be more than 60 bike parking lots, four bike rental points and 11 scooter rental points.
For safe walks in the dark, more than a thousand lanterns with energy-saving lamps, 345 different small architectural forms will be installed. And in the course of additional landscaping of the territory, almost 17 hectares of lawn will be laid out, 45 trees will be planted and more than 7.6 thousand shrubs.
