At the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School, a sports festival was held with a paramilitary relay race and a number of other competitions.

Teams from various courses and faculties of the school competed in performing a set of strength exercises, running, disassembling and assembling a Kalashnikov assault rifle, and carrying weights. The final step was the tug of war.

Sports in DVOKU is an integral part of the education and training of future officers. The school develops various sports directions. These are applied military, power, athletics and various game sports. Cadets take part in all sports events of the Amur Region and sports days of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School named after Marshal of the Soviet Union K.K. Rokossovsky, stationed in the city of Blagoveshchensk in the Amur Region, is one of the oldest military educational institutions of Russia in the Far East. Since 1940, the school has trained about 27 thousand highly qualified officers, 41 of whom were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation.

Currently, DVOKU prepares commanders for mountain units, marine units and a unique command specialty to manage units in the Arctic. In addition, warrant officers are trained in the technical profile.
