In view of the recent confirmed COVID-19 cases involving Thai people, the Home Affairs Department and Lok Sin Tong will jointly arrange a voluntary free testing service for them in Kowloon City.

Specimen bottles can be collected on October 10 and 11 from 10am to 5pm from Lok Sin Tong Lee Yin Yee United Centre – Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities.

The bottles can be returned to Lok Sin Tong Chan Kwong Hing Memorial Primary Health Centre from 9am to 12noon on October 12 and 13.

The Kowloon City District Office has contacted organisations serving Thai people in the district through Lok Sin Tong to inform them about the testing scheme.

Specimen bottles and anti-epidemic information leaflets will be distributed to Thai restaurants and merchants in the district tomorrow.

To cater for the specific needs of Thai people, Lok Sin Tong will arrange Thai volunteers to provide onsite assistance and the relevant anti-epidemic information and guidelines written in Thai will be provided.

The Government urged Thai people to actively participate in the scheme and return specimen bottles on time to eliminate the transmission link in the community as soon as possible and to seek medical treatment promptly.

Call the district office at 6201 7660 or Lok Sin Tong at 2382 0106 for enquiries.
