Ballwin, MO – Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the House Suburban Caucus, released the following statement on coronavirus stimulus legislation:
“There is still room for bipartisan agreement on the next stimulus package, and I am committed to show up to vote at any hour to support legislation that will help American families and small businesses. There are many items we all agree on and we must get done, including another round of stimulus checks for Americans, additional and more flexible Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans for businesses, and more resources for testing and treatment. These priorities should not be politicized, and we must come to an agreement that helps America’s families at what is an incredibly difficult moment.
“I have consistently been working for those who need my help during this pandemic, and have been proud to vote for four bipartisan coronavirus relief packages. Ensuring the health, safety, and economic security of my constituents is my top priority and I will not stop working for them.
“Please, continue to follow CDC guidelines, social distance, wear a mask, and wash your hands frequently. Together, we can defeat COVID-19, stay safe, and rebuild by doing our part to stop the spread.”
