Minister Blum renewed the invitation extended by President Iván Duque to President Sebastián Piñera to visit Colombia, in accordance with the will of both leaders to maintain and further strengthen bilateral relations.
“Colombia and Chile share a long history of brotherhood and cooperation. Throughout the decades, we have always had reasons to act jointly and in coordination, to promote our common interests in the bilateral sphere and to promote our initiatives in the multiple multilateral scenarios in which we participate ”, assured the head of Colombian foreign relations.
In the context of the post-pandemic economic reactivation, the Ministers agreed on the importance of considerably increasing two-way investment between the two countries, as well as maintaining a conducive climate and direct dialogue with the authorities to generate increasing confidence.
