The newest corvette of project 20380 “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov”, built at the Amur shipyard for the Pacific Fleet, has completed the first stage of sea trials in the Sea of ​​Japan.

Within 10 days, representatives of the factory acceptance team, together with the ship’s crew and the Pacific Fleet specialists, assessed the maneuverable and speed qualities of the corvette for compliance with the declared characteristics, monitored the operation of the ship’s systems and mechanisms, navigation and radio equipment.

The ship’s operations in the maritime training grounds were provided by Il-38 anti-submarine aircraft and the Ka-27PL helicopter of the Pacific Fleet’s naval aviation.

After the first independent exit to the sea, the corvette returned to the delivery base of the Amur shipyard in Vladivostok, where it began preparations for the next stage of testing. In the coming months, specialists will have to check the operation of the ship’s aviation complex and the corvette’s weapons.

It is planned that in December this year the corvette Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov will enter the Pacific Fleet.
