Accompanied by the chief engineer of the GUFSIN Igor Titenkov and the head of the colony Ivan Kuznetsov, the first deputy minister of ecology and rational nature management of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Vitaly Badmaev inspected the production area of the institution, in particular the metal and woodworking shops. Particular attention was paid to the newly opened workshop for the production of metal and mesh waste containers.

– Residents of the private sector of the Sovetsky District have already appreciated the appearance and quality of garbage cans made by convicts. Completed work on the installation of container yards in three regions of Krasnoyarsk. Currently, work is underway in the Central and Oktyabrsky regions. According to municipal contracts between the regional GUFSIN and regional administrations, a total of 90 sites for the accumulation of solid municipal waste with 299 containers with a total cost of 9.25 million rubles will be equipped in Krasnoyarsk, – said Igor Titenkov.

The result of the meeting in IK-27 was an agreement on interaction between the GUFSIN and the Ministry of Ecology within the framework of the environmental program of 2021 on the separate collection of solid municipal waste.

– The institution has launched a new production. Its result is quality products that meet the established standards. I would like to note the relevance of the creation of production facilities. Next year, we plan to start implementing a program for the municipalities of the region to subsidize the purchase of container equipment and the organization of container sites. We believe that the practice developed by the institution will be in demand, – said Vitaly Badmaev, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Rational Nature Management of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
