The training complex of the 859th Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Flight Personnel (Naval Aviation of the Navy) in Yeisk by the beginning of the new academic year in the Armed Forces is planned to be equipped with five modern simulators for teaching piloting of various types of aircraft.

The center is a state-of-the-art complex of systems and assemblies for full-fledged training of the flight and engineering personnel of the fighter, anti-submarine and deck aviation of the Navy. For their training, eight specialized classes were equipped, dynamic simulators for Ka-27M and Ka-52K helicopters, as well as an integrated simulator (CTS) of the Su-30SM multipurpose fighter were installed. A feature of the Su-30SM KTS is the use of artificial intelligence to form an external visual environment system in order to solve the entire complex of tasks related to piloting and combat use of an aircraft in the full range of altitudes and speeds.

In Yeisk, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, checked the readiness of the facilities of the ground test training complex for ship aviation (NIUTK KA).

With its commissioning, it will be possible for pilots to practice elements of takeoff and landing on the deck of an aircraft-carrying cruiser on all types of helicopters and carrier-based aircraft such as the Su-33, MiG-29K (KUB) and Su-25UTG.

Also, the deputy head of the military department inspected the organization of combat training in a special center in the village of Agoy in the Krasnodar Territory (survival of flight personnel and training of specialists for the search and rescue and parachute service).

Over the past five years, more than 6 thousand pilots have been trained at the center, the head of the 4th State Center for Aviation Personnel Training and Military Tests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Yuri Sushkov, informed about this.

In the presence of the Deputy Minister, the flight personnel and specialists of the search and rescue and parachute service conducted training on survival in various conditions. They worked out practical actions in case of a forced landing and covert movement in the combat area, in case of an ambush, in providing first aid and rescuing the victim, entering the evacuation area, marking the site with improvised and signaling means.

A feature of training in the Agoy center is the ability to practice the landing of trainees with the performance of parachute jumps on the water.

Lieutenant General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov met with the developers of promising means of rescue and survival, focused on the analysis and implementation in the Russian Defense Ministry of the combat experience of the RF Armed Forces in local wars and conflicts, as well as the leading countries of the world. He instructed the management of the center, together with representatives of industrial enterprises, to prepare proposals for promising models of uniforms and means of rescuing flight personnel.
