As part of the final check for 2020, at the tank and autodrome of the Pskov Guards Airborne Assault Formation, the Airborne Forces Command commission conducted a control exercise on driving combat vehicles and vehicles with officers of the formation control.

In the course of the control exercise on driving the BTR-D, BTR-MDM, the servicemen overcame obstacles such as a track bridge and an anti-tank ditch, passage through mine-explosive obstacles. Also, the examinees passed the standards for the installation of batteries, night sights and others.

All personnel involved in the control class of the formation performed exercises for the assessment of “good” and “excellent”.

The deputy head of the combat training department of the Airborne Forces noted the high organization of training and the level of preparedness of the formation’s personnel.

Control exercises with the units of the Pskov Guards Airborne Forces are conducted as part of the final check in accordance with the training plan of the Airborne Forces and will last until October 10. On this day, the results will be summed up under the leadership of the commander of the Airborne Forces, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov.
