3701 new cases of COVID-19 were registered per day.

In the capital, 1,001 patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized over the past day. 250 people are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The number of new cases in the last week is 53 percent higher than in the previous week. In just the last week, 12 percent more patients were hospitalized than in the previous week. This was reported at the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.

In total, 3,701 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the capital per day. 40.1 percent of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 30.5 percent – from 46 to 65 years old, 11.2 percent – from 66 to 79 years old, and 5.2 percent of cases – people over 80 years. Another 13 percent of the cases are children. All patients and people in contact with them are under medical supervision.

The hospitals that have opened at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center and the Krylatskoye Ice Palace began to treat patients with coronavirus infection. The complexes are equipped with modern equipment – there are X-ray machines, ultrasound and artificial lung ventilation (IVL) machines, mobile and intraoperative computed tomographs. In addition, each bed has its own medical gas valve. The complexes also have laboratories for the study of biological material.
