During the day, 1,008 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized in the capital. In just the last week, 14 percent more patients were hospitalized than in the previous week. 255 patients are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. This was reported at the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.

In total, 3323 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in the capital per day. 41.1 percent of new cases are people aged 18 to 45, 31.4 percent are from 46 to 65 years old, 12.1 percent are from 66 to 79 years old, 4.8 percent are over 80 years old. Another 10.6 percent of cases are children. All patients and people in contact with them are under medical supervision.

Hospitals for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection have opened in the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center and in the Krylatskoye Ice Palace. The complexes are equipped with modern equipment – there are X-ray machines, ultrasound and ventilator machines, mobile and intraoperative computed tomographs. In addition, each bed has its own medical gas valve.
