On behalf of the Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia Evgeny Zinichev, the Department held a coordination meeting on the situation related to the emergency in the Ryazan region. The meeting was chaired by Pavel Baryshev, Deputy Minister of EMERCOM of Russia. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Transport and the administration of the Ryazan Region.

Currently, more than 430 personnel and 57 pieces of equipment, 1 fire train are working at the site of the fire from the RSChS.

For the purpose of response, specialists from the Leader Center, Noginsk and Tula rescue centers, with a total of 190 people and 21 pieces of equipment, are on alert. Including: 32 pyrotechnics, 8 cynological crews, intended for mine search. Also in readiness are IL-76 aircraft and a Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, 3 fire trains. Unmanned aerial vehicles are being prepared for aerial reconnaissance.

The forces and means of the EMERCOM of Russia are involved in the evacuation of citizens, as well as in the protection of private households from fire. Work is underway on the 3rd difficulty number. According to preliminary information, more than 2,300 people were evacuated from nearby settlements within a radius of 5 kilometers. Their placement was organized in TAPs on the basis of educational institutions and hospitals located at a safe distance from the epicenter of the explosions. The forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have blocked automobile traffic on the R-22 “Caspian” highway.
