WASHINGTON, DC — Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-03) released the following statement on the President’s calls to end coronavirus stimulus talks:
“Despite claiming three days ago that he wanted to ‘work together and get it done,’ the President has once again turned his back on our country by ending talks over a coronavirus relief and stimulus package. More than 210,000 Americans have died, families are struggling to put food on the table, stay in their homes, find jobs and affordable, safe child care.
“President Trump is failing the unemployed, our small businesses, and those resorting to food banks. He has failed our communities and continues to put our families at risk. His actions are disgraceful.”
