Cadets of the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense, who are undergoing training in the specialty “military-political work”, took part in a comprehensive field trip at the Alabino training ground in the Moscow region.

During the field exit, the future officers performed control firing exercises (UKS-1 and UKS-2) from small arms, grenade launchers and weapons of BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, as well as grenade throwing.

During the practical part of the training, the cadets worked out various elements of driving the BMP-2 and firing from an automatic 30-mm cannon at a distance of 400 to 1200 meters.

The main goal of practical shooting is to train future officers in fire control when suppressing and destroying enemy personnel and objects.

At the end of the field trip, each student received an assessment from the commission of the teaching staff of the Department of Shooting and Operation of Weapons, Military and Special Equipment.
