JSC “Russian Railways Logistics” together with GK “Rusagro” within the framework of the special service “Agroexpress” sent sunflower oil from Yekaterinburg to Shanghai. The logistics company provided a full range of necessary services:

delivery of a container for loading to the sender’s warehouse;
transshipment at the terminal from a road to a railway platform;
organization of hitching to a transit train;
delivery to the destination station and auto delivery of the container to the consignee’s warehouse in Shanghai.

“A container with sunflower oil was attached in Yekaterinburg to a transit train en route Duisburg – Suzhou. It is expected that the cargo to China will be delivered in 12 days, while the transportation by sea took at least 30 days, “the press service of Russian Railways Logistics said.

In addition to a significant reduction in the transit time, as noted by RZD Logistics, the delivery of goods directly to the client’s warehouse is provided, without going through expensive port operations in China.
