We are the ones who are going to take the main steps both for the rescue and recovery of the sector, as well as for generating more dignity and more jobs for more people ”, he highlighted. “Our responsibility is not only with the maintenance of jobs and the defense of dignity, but also with the production of new jobs”, he concluded. The secretariat was created in late May, based on the new structure of the Ministry of Tourism, to strengthen the policy of attracting private investments to the sector. The proposal is to improve the business environment with a focus on legal certainty and public-private partnerships involving concessions and authorizations. It is also part of the secretariat’s duties to support credit for investments in the sector, made possible, mainly, through Fungetur (General Tourism Fund). Edition: Victor Maciel
