The Prosecutor’s Office of the Stavropol Territory approved the indictment in the criminal case against the head of the Georgievsky urban district. He is accused of committing crimes under Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of a knowingly forged document), Art. 119 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (threat of murder and infliction of grievous bodily harm).

According to the investigation, in October 2017, the man acquired a fictitious diploma on obtaining higher professional education in one of the educational institutions, which he submitted to the administration of the Georgievsky urban district for employment as the first deputy head of the district administration, and subsequently in November 2017 to the commission on the selection of candidates for the post of head of the district. At the same time, the man did not complete his studies at the university, since he was expelled.

In addition, in the course of numerous quarrels with his friend, the malefactor threatened her with murder and infliction of grievous bodily harm, with the aim of exerting psychological influence, he put a knife to the stomach and imitated her strangulation.

After serving a copy of the indictment, the criminal case will be sent to the Georgievsk City Court for consideration on the merits.
