The Yunarmeytsy of Khabarovsk planted an alley of memory as part of the All-Russian patriotic action “The Woman’s Face of Victory”.

30 lilac bushes were planted in the square “City of Military Glory” of the regional capital, in honor of women veterans and home front workers who participated in the Great Patriotic War from 1941 to 1945.

Veterans-women, also helped the girls participating in the action, shared with them memories of that past, but not forgotten time when they had to, with weapons in their hands, on a par with men, to defend their homeland on the fields of bloody battles and work in the rear for the sake of one nationwide goal – Victory over the fascist invaders.

Soon, near each planted lilac bush, commemorative plaques with female names should appear, in honor of which they were planted.
