On October 2, in Rostov-on-Don, M.V. Mishustin will visit the College of Communications and Informatics, where he will hold a meeting with directors and teachers of Russian colleges, representatives of the expert community in the field of vocational education and students.
Also, the Chairman of the Government will inspect the production sites and agricultural machinery of the Rostselmash Combine Plant LLC, and will talk to the employees of the enterprise.
As part of his working trip, Mikhail Mishustin will hold a meeting with the Governor of the Rostov Region V.Yu. Golubev.
The events will be attended by Minister of Education S. S. Kravtsov, Minister of Industry and Trade D. V. Manturov.
State budgetary professional educational institution of the Rostov region “Rostov-on-Don College of Communications and Informatics” provides training in the following areas: telecommunications, information technology, economics, banking, management documentation, technical regulation and quality management. In the 2020/2021 academic year, 3655 students study at the college in 14 specialties, over 100 highly qualified teachers work.
On the basis of the college, there are authorized training centers of world manufacturers of hardware and software Cisco Systems, Samsung, Infotecs, 3M, Security Code, Oracle and others.
Within the framework of the federal project “Young Professionals” of the national project “Education” in 2020, on the basis of the college, the Center for Advanced Professional Training of the Rostov Region is being created.
The Rostselmash combine plant was founded in 1929 in Rostov-on-Don. It is part of the Rostselmash group of companies.
Today the plant is the largest producer of agricultural machinery in the CIS, controlling over 50% of the Russian grain harvesting equipment market and about 17% of the world market. Rostselmash products are supplied to more than 50 countries of the near and far abroad.
The Rostselmash group includes 13 enterprises located at 11 production sites in 5 countries producing agricultural machinery. The product line of the company comprises more than 150 models and modifications of 24 types of machines and units, including grain and forage harvesters, tractors, sprayers, forage harvesting and grain processing equipment.
