Servicemen of the Marine Corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) of the Southern Military District, stationed in the Republic of Dagestan, have begun to transfer weapons and military equipment (AME) for the winter period of operation.

During the events, the personnel will perform a full range of seasonal maintenance of weapons and military equipment. Work will be carried out to replace oils and special fluids, as well as to check the functioning of the main components and assemblies, electrical and hydraulic systems.

At the present time, instructor and methodological classes on compliance with safety measures and fire protection during work in parks, open areas and storage facilities have passed with the military personnel. Repair stations were deployed, teams of specialists were formed.

Depending on the type of weapons and equipment, over 40 technical operations will be performed on each standard unit.

The final stage of transferring weapons and military equipment to the winter operation mode will be the quality control of the work performed by a special commission of the CFL.

More than 400 units will be served in total. military and special equipment in service with the units of the marines of the flotilla. Carrying out these routine maintenance significantly increases the service life of equipment, as well as the likelihood of failure-free operation of AME units and assemblies in various climatic conditions.
