Even more than before, they are the perfect companion for discovering even the most remote corners of our planet by motorcycle. As before, the legendary two-cylinder boxer engine ensures confident and refined propulsion. It still has a displacement of 1,254 cm3 and has an output of 100 kW (136 hp) in the current EU5 approval. Thanks to BMW ShiftCam technology for varying the valve timing and valve lift on the intake side, it offers superior power across the entire engine speed range, extremely smooth running and smoothness as well as excellent fuel consumption and emissions. Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and the new “Eco” driving mode come as standard. Driving modes Pro with driving mode preselection and engine drag torque control (MSR) as special equipment.
