Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to following an assault in Oxford.
At around 6.40pm on Saturday 25 July, the victim, a man in his thirties, was assaulted by two men who were passengers in his taxi.
The victim was driving the men to Headington shops on London Road when they had a dispute over the taxi fare. The victim was then punched and bitten on the ear before the passengers got out of the vehicle by the Co-Op store. The victim drove off from the scene and returned a short while later and was assaulted further by the men.
The victim sustained injuries to his head and hand and required treatment at hospital and has since been discharged.
Investigating officer PC Leah Pullin, based at Oxford police station said: “I believe the man in this image may have vital information that could help our investigation.
