Nick Thomas-Symonds MP, Labour’s Shadow Home Secretary, responding to a Home Office parliamentary written statement today on the so-called ‘Comprehensive Improvement Plan’, said:
“We should judge the Government by its actions and, so far, it has failed to pay the compensation it promised to those affected by the appalling Windrush scandal.
“The reality is the Tories cannot be trusted to properly tackle this appalling injustice.”
