The Department of Education and the Family (DEF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Catherine Zbinden Tissières, to the direction of the future Trade and Management Pole made up of the ESTER of CIFOM and the EPC of the CPLN . Ms. Zbinden Tissières, aged 51, holds a degree in political science from the University of Neuchâtel, a federal diploma in teaching skills (DFAP) from the Swiss Institute of Pedagogy for Vocational Training (ISPFP), the certificate for the teaching of the vocational maturity and many other continuing education. She can draw on extensive teaching experience of more than 15 years, as well as school management, but also extensive managerial experience in the private sector. Ms. Catherine Zbinden Tissières, current director of ESTER, will take up her post in February 2021. The Education and Family Department (DEF) is pleased to be able to count on the extensive experience and skills of Ms. Zbinden Tissière. In particular, she will be responsible, with her management team, for completing the constitution of the future Commerce and Management Pole which will be located on the existing training sites of La Chaux-de-Fonds and Neuchâtel, as well as for setting up the reform of important training orders in the commercial sector. This hub will also help develop greater responsiveness and agility in an economic world and a constantly changing job market.
