Source: Koerber Foundation Making the public participation project Vorpommern better: The Vorpommern strategy looks back on a successful start: a good 500 citizens have already attended the first five dialogue events of the barn tour.
The ideas for a better coexistence and a better quality of life range from the expansion of the cycle paths and mobile libraries to the establishment of further multi-generation houses. More than 100 ideas have already been entered on the platform vorpommernbessermachen.de, which invites you to participate digitally. With Make Vorpommern better, the Körber Foundation, together with its cooperation partners, the Foundation for Volunteering and Civic Engagement and the State Center for Political Education Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, as well as with the Parliamentary State Secretary for Western Pomerania as the patron of the project in rural areas. The participation events planned as idea workshops take place throughout the country. Despite Corona restrictions, encounters and personal exchange are guaranteed: Thanks to late summer temperatures, the common theme tables as the central exchange format have so far been held mainly in the open air. After stops in Ferdinandshof, at Bröllin Castle, Klempenow Castle, in Vaschvitz on Rügen and in the Katzow Sculpture Park, there are two more events that offer the opportunity to exchange ideas personally and to which we are cordially invited: 01.10.
