Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk media visited the production facility at the correctional colony No. 27, where the convicts are engaged in the manufacture of garbage cans for waste. The journalists talked with convicts employed in production, and also visited the Soviet district and learned the opinion of local residents about the installed containers.

According to municipal contracts between the regional GUFSIN and regional administrations, a total of 90 sites for the accumulation of solid municipal waste with 299 containers will be equipped with a total amount of 9.25 million rubles. Convicts are engaged in the manufacture and installation of tanks. At the moment, 26 people are involved in the work, serving sentences in IK-27. Another 6 convicts from the UFIC are engaged in installation.

It is worth noting that the institutions of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory are constantly working to attract customers, as well as create additional jobs for the employment of convicts. Thus, the convicts have made three pavilions for the rental of sports equipment for a total of 3.3 million rubles. The assembly of the pavilions was carried out in a modular way, each of the modules was assembled on the territory of IK-27, 8 people were involved in these types of work. The results of work on the manufacture and installation of pavilions were highly appreciated by the customer. As a result, it is planned to place an additional order for the production of 4 similar pavilions.

According to the convicts, the job is interesting, well paid, and the acquired labor skills will certainly come in handy after release. In addition, the employment of convicts makes it possible to pay off claims under orders of execution from harm caused to injured citizens and alimony obligations.
