The Moscow city prosecutor’s office has approved the indictment in the criminal case against a 23-year-old citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, h. 5 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs by an organized group, on an especially large scale).

According to the investigation, the accused was a member of a criminal group of drug dealers. On December 6, 2010, the attacker intended to sell a narcotic drug – heroin, 6-monoacetylmorphine and acetylcodeine, with a total weight of more than 2.5 kg, however, he could not bring his intention to the end because he was detained by officers of the internal affairs bodies during the ongoing operational search activities. The drug was confiscated from him.

The accused admitted his guilt in full.

The criminal case will be sent to the Golovinsky District Court of Moscow for examination on the merits. With respect to the accused, a preventive measure was taken in the form of detention.
