Since the beginning of 2020, the volume of Russian exports of poultry meat to China has increased sevenfold and reached $ 160.4 million. At present, China accounts for 67% of the supplies of these products from Russia. Last year, in general, domestic exports in this direction increased by 70% – up to $ 329 million. Further development is facilitated by state support measures implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia – concessional lending, as well as reimbursement of part of the costs incurred when certifying agricultural products in foreign markets. The amount of the subsidy can be 50% or 90% of the volume of actually incurred and documented costs, depending on the volume of transportation of agricultural products to the final destination. In addition, within the framework of the federal project “Export of agricultural products”, work is underway to create export guides for domestic suppliers. So, last year on poultry meat, 3 export guides were developed for the markets of China, Vietnam and Angola, this year two more are planned – for the Philippines and Japan.
