Coronavirus: council service information and advice

Information about changes to council services as a result of coronavirus

Residents are advised that some plate load road and promenade testing will be carried out today in preparation for the arrival of the D-Day landing craft next month.

This will involve a HGV testing vehicle being inside the road closure area that is currently used for socially distanced exercise between Serpentine Road and Pier Road.

Temporary works will be commencing on Wednesday 15th July 2020 on the Clarence Esplanade between Serpentine Gate and Clarence Pier Road. The works are expected to be completed within a single day and will not affect public general activities along the Esplanade.

If you have any questions about this – you can contact our third party contractor Ground and Water on enquiries@groundandwater.co.uk  .

Please keep a safe distance from the works at all times. Thank you for your co-operation.
