Ashcroft Joins Secretaries of State in Appreciating USMCA Launch

Jefferson City, Mo. — Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, whose office oversees business filings in Missouri, joined secretaries of state nationwide in recognizing and appreciating the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which officially enters into force today.

“We’re grateful for this historic agreement, which will help Missouri agriculture and businesses grow with more jobs and increasing exports,” Ashcroft said. “As our economy recovers, getting businesses and people back to work, this agreement will help ensure success for large and small businesses who compete and form partnerships with our neighbors. We stand ready to assist our entrepreneurs and businesses.”

Ashcroft’s Business Services Division is responsible for business filings in Missouri and is committed to making it easier to do business in the state.

Ashcroft joins fellow secretaries of state who oversee the business filings process in their respective states in appreciating USMCA’s launch. Secretaries of state in Alabama, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, Texas and Wyoming recognized the positive impact USMCA will have on entrepreneurs across the country.
