During the meeting, the participants discussed the development of the Scientific and Technical Center “Park of Atomic and Medical Technologies”, as well as the implementation of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” projects on the basis of the center. Anatoly Artamonov noted that the decision to create the “Atomic and Medical Technologies Park” in Obninsk was made immediately only it became known about the initiative of the President of Russia on the establishment of innovative scientific and technological centers. The innovative scientific and technical center “Park of Nuclear and Medical Technologies” is being created in Obninsk under the Federal Law “On Innovative Scientific and Technical Centers”. The parliamentarian thanked Rosatom Corporation for the fruitful cooperation and expressed hope that those projects that are currently being worked out for their implementation together with the State Corporation will be successfully implemented. To solve problems in the field of medical research, it is planned to build a scientific and clinical center, which will become a testing ground approbation of digital medicine solutions. Together with the Research Center of Radiology, it is planned to implement a project to digitize a database of case histories and images, on the basis of which an analytical system for making medical decisions will be created. This task corresponds to the strategic priorities of the national project “Health” in the framework of the development of digital medicine, the senator emphasized. In addition, the center of the Russian Federation will be adjacent to the center’s territory, where data processing and storage will be implemented on the basis of modern digital technologies. “Resident companies the park will be provided with tax incentives, reimbursement of payment of customs duties on imports, they will not need permits to attract and use foreign workers, procedures for regulating urban development in the territory of the ITC will also be simplified, ”said Anatoly Artamonov.
