Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Epping teen Jeremiah Sillata.

The 16-year-old was last seen at Hurstbridge Trail Station about 1.30am on 18 June.

Police have concerns for his welfare due to this age and the length of time he has been missing.

An image of Jeremiah has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Jeremiah is described as being about 168cm tall with a solid build and short black hair shaved on the sides.

He was last seen wearing blue shorts, a white baggy hoodie and carrying a black sports bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Epping Police Station on 9409 8100.
