June 22, 2020 the day of Memory and grief on the territory of the Federal military memorial cemetery held a wreath-laying ceremony at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and launched the project “Living memory”.

The event also hosted the opening of the alley “a Living memory” and the landing of the alley “lilacs of Victory”.

The participants of the “Living Memory” in Russia and abroad through the channels of the video conference went live, was declared a national minute of silence, held to the beat of the metronome.

The laying of wreaths and flowers at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier was held in other cities, as well as on the mass graves and memorials.

Currently the Project continue to join social organizations, youth collectives, students, representatives of Executive authorities and other citizens from all regions of the Russian Federation and foreign partners and participants who are genuinely interested in preserving the memory of the heroism of the victorious people, who made a key contribution to the Victory over the enemy in 1945.

The event was also attended by Chairman of the Central Council of veterans of logistics of the Armed Forces the General-the major of a stock Alexander Artemov and the priest of the Church of “the Epiphany” father Leonid.

The campaign is supported by the Ministry of defence.
