The pilots of the Baltic fleet held a dress rehearsal of the linear passage of aircraft over Kaliningrad in the framework of preparation for the Victory parade.

Today in the sky over the center of Kaliningrad flew 20 aircraft and helicopters su – 27 fighters and multi-role fighters su-30CM, frontline bombers su-24M, shock and transport-combat helicopters Mi-24 and Mi-8, naval anti-submarine and search-and-rescue helicopters Ka-27 and KA-27PS. The altitude of combat vehicles ranged from 150 to 300 meters at speeds from 160 to 550 kilometers per hour depending on aircraft type.

As noted by the chief of the naval aviation of the Baltic fleet, honored pilot of Russia, Colonel Andrei Pakhomov: “For pilots of naval aviation – flying over the city at extremely low altitudes, were not congenial to the task. But to air show aircraft brought our best pilots and they succeeded. June 24, naval aviation of the Baltic fleet will please veterans and residents of Kaliningrad a beautiful flight over the city.”

The aircraft took off from three airfields in the oblast of Kaliningrad Chkalovsk near Kaliningrad, Chernyakhovsk and a military airfield in the village of Donskoye. This rehearsal was the final, the next flight will take place in the Victory parade on June 24.
