June 18, 2020, the Secretary of the CEC, Maya Grishina of Russia took part in the meeting of the Working group on preparation of proposals on introducing amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Maya Grishina told colleagues about the submission of applications for voting at the location in a “Mobile voter”, and also said that on June 21 of 2020, the deadline for filing applications for participation in remote electronic voting.

Secretary of the CEC of Russia also informed participants of the meeting about the voting process in remote areas: “It is the vote in remote and inaccessible areas, there is a vote on the vessels. During the meeting were discussed the issues associated with remote electronic voting, distribution of “fake” information about preparations for the vote, the organization of work of the observers.

In particular, the working group co-chair, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction Andrey Klishas suggested that the attempts of stuffing “fake” news show high degree of elaboration of the amendments to the Constitution and procedure of preparation and holding of nationwide voting.
