The notched gate is one of the first buildings of the architect Vasily Bazhenov in the birthplace of the Empress Catherine the great, they separate part of the Palace from the Park. At delicate arch “is inscribed” a bunch of grapes, on the sides by two turrets with scalloped tops reminiscent of a Royal crown.

Red gate
