PETTIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close lanes on northbound and southbound Route 65 at Routes H and HH from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. to install a temporary traffic signal at the intersections.

MoDOT recently installed a similar temporary signal at the intersection of Route 65 and Rebar Road, near Nucor Steel.

All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
