Source: DOSBAm 27. April 2020 took place for the first time, a virtual Junior team-Meeting of the German sports youth (dsj).
Almost 100 were involved from the junior teams in the dsj member organizations and their subdivisions. The participants exchanged ideas on topics that the junior teams are currently dealing with around the corona crisis. The main focus was on the current (digital) possibilities that the junior teams have or use to continue to exchange ideas within their team and to pursue their projects in the junior team. It started with several experts from the junior teams and the sports associations in a 30-minute discussion round. Laura Anisi (Lower Saxony Sports Youth), Leo Geese (German Basketball Youth), Christian Krull (Berlin Sports Youth) and Nicola Orths (German Athletics Youth) identified key challenges for volunteering and volunteering among young people in the current crisis. However, they also emphasized that many creative projects are currently being developed by young people in order to continue to get involved and to support each other and themselves *. Among other things, digital youth summits or sporty participatory offers in social media such as #Heimarena or #Bewegungsstrasse for at home or outside were mentioned.
In the subsequent open exchange with all the Participants intensively exchanged information about the various digital education and collaboration platforms. It was once more clear that the young Dedicated to bring here a lot of skills and experience and your commitment to the Junior teams already diverse digital design, you can assist in addition, but also their clubs and associations.
