According to the Senator, ACTING Governor of the NAO Yuri Bezdomny Bezdolnyi Vasiljeviene acting Governor of Nenets Autonomous region has set the task before the authorities of the district to formulate proposals aimed at reducing expenses of the regional budget. However, this will not affect the national projects and social obligations which are an absolute priority for the authorities of the NAO, said the Senator.In addition, according to the legislator, family-tribal communities of indigenous peoples of the NAO will receive support from the regional budget on support of its conservation of traditional lifestyles and the development of new forms of management.Olga Starostina reported that the district support for the communities in the form of grants is provided in the framework of the state program NAO “Preservation and development of indigenous peoples of the North in the Nenets Autonomous district”. “The main criteria for receiving support are the significance and relevance of planned activities for sustainability of family (tribal) communities, their economic and social effectiveness.”
