Space center “Vostochny” (a branch of TsENKI, part of state Corporation “Roscosmos”) in cooperation with the emergency Ministry, the Amur forestry and GSPB Administration BUT Tsiolkovsky for the prevention and liquidation of fires in forest and steppe fires in territory of the cosmodrome Vostochny has deployed three fire post. In standby mode, 23 units of equipment, including the technique of “East”: two KAMAZ trucks, the grader, and sewer machine. A total of 85 people are involved.The staff of branch of TsENKI conducted preventive measures. Checked availability of technical and technological systems of fire tested fire hoses, fire hydrants checked, and formed a group to respond to the event of an approaching fire. In the vicinity of the spaceport mowed dry grass, held fire lines assigned duty for visual monitoring of the situation. Forces TsENKI also organized meals for emergency workers involved in fighting forest fires.In addition, entered into force order of the Director of the branch “On additional measures to ensure fire safety at operation of objects of a branch of TsENKI — Space center “Vostochny”. Chiefs of Launch and Technical complexes organized observation posts adjacent territory. The situation is under control.***Currently, in all municipalities of the Amur region open fire season introduced special fire-prevention mode, restrictions on visits to forests, citizens, and the entry of motor transport. According to the emergencies Ministry in Amur region over the past day 191 people and 44 units of equipment were involved to extinguish 36 the burning of dry vegetation. They were eliminated, the total burning area amounted to more than 340 ha. Pala was in Arkharinskaya, Annunciation, Belogorsk, Burejskom, Ivanovo, Constantine, Magdagachinsky, October, Svobodnensky and Skovorodino areas in the cities of Blagoveshchensk, Zavitinsk, Free, Skovorodino, Shimanovsk and the village of Progress.Since the beginning of the fire season in the Amur region 861 extinguished a fire of dry vegetation on an area of over 13200 hectares, in the fighting which involved 5611 man and 1447 units.
