The State Council would like to acknowledge the strong commitment and the quality of the work of Corinne Martin at the head of a service of which it has successfully ensured the functioning, organization, development and links with outside partners. Entry into service in September 2014, Corinne Martin, while putting the public service vaud for the benefit of his thorough knowledge of the institutions – especially the municipalities – has changed the entity for which it was responsible, including the housing sector, reforming the sector of political rights and by strengthening the key area of communal governance. Under his leadership, the SCL is located at the heart of legislative reforms to the profound (such as the development of the law on the preservation and promotion of rental stock or the revision of the law on political rights) approaches, and complex (such as the negotiations with the municipalities, in particular the record of the equalization). Corinne Martin was also heavily involved in instances cross on the cantonal level and the federal level (as a member of the commission of the Conference of the cantonal authorities finance oversight to local councils and the working Group of the federal Office for housing on the dialogue on housing policy). The Council of State expresses its deep gratitude.
