NEPAL proves that the adoption of the measures in place to protect the health of indigenous people in the Mato Grosso state

The office of the solicitor General (AGU) has proved in court that the federal government is promoting measures to ensure the health and safety of the food of the indigenous people of the state of Mato Grosso-in the midst of the pandemic, the Covid-19.The action came after a preliminary injunction from the Federal court to determine that the Union would provide thousands of food baskets monthly to the indigenous Xavante, and that the delivery would be made by the Brazilian Army, because of his symbolic value to the authority, and to raise awareness in the community about the pandemic. The request had been made by the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), by means of a civil action, in the face of the Union and of the National Supply Company (Conab).But the attorney-General, through the office of the Prosecutor of the Union in the State of Mato Grosso, brazil, explained that it is not the responsibility of the Armed Forces, this duty of raising the awareness of the community, as this award belongs to the competence of the Ministry of Health and the National Indian Foundation (Funai).A unit of the OFCE found that the department of Health, through the Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health, has put in place a series of measures in order to prevent the Covid-19 and the indigenous communities, such as the intensification of the routine of education in the health
