This contest is growing quite exceptional on the whole national territory with more than 6000 candidates enrolling each year in over 90 trades. It is aimed at young people under the age of 21 years, in initial training (CAP and BAC PRO) from public or private institutions, under statute, in school or under apprenticeship contract. It is organized under the auspices of the Société nationale des Meilleurs ouvriers de France.
