The contest will begin on February 20.

The winners of the quiz on the portal “Learn Moscow” to be held in celebration of the Days of historical and cultural heritage, will receive a ticket for a trip to one of 20 unique monuments of architecture. This also applies to diplomatic residences, access to which is closed at the usual time.

“In 2020 the Days of historical and cultural heritage will be held in the jubilee, 20th edition. For Muscovites prepared an extensive program of excursions to various cultural heritage and unique routes through the historic streets. To get to the most inaccessible monuments, including ambassadorial residences, will be the winners of the special quiz starting on 20 February,” — said Alexey Emelyanov, head of the Department of cultural heritage of Moscow.

He added that to correctly answer all questions will be possible only to real connoisseurs and lovers of Moscow history and architecture. Clues can be found in the articles on the portal “Learn Moscow”.

The winners will be the first 1,600 people who successfully pass two stages of the quiz. On the ground they will demonstrate knowledge of the history and characteristics of architectural monuments of the capital, and on the second visit and photograph some of them.
