Moscow will host the VI international tournament “Moscow stars Wushu in 2020.” It will hold from 24 to 29 February in the Moscow Palace Wushu.
Participation in the competition will be attended by about a thousand athletes from such countries as Russia, Germany, Poland, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, Israel and India. It will be the largest tournament for all time of its existence.
Besides, spectators will see the world Champions in this sport — Pavel Muratov and Sandra Konstantinova (Russia), Mohammed Salaheldin Abdullah Mohammed (Egypt), Anastasia Kirilyuk (Israel), Evgeny Lopatkina (Kyrgyzstan).
The competition will be held in six disciplines — taolu, kung fu, uncynical, win-Chun and tai Chi Chuan. Also to identify strengths in contact fights Sanda and tuishou.
The opening ceremony will take place on 25 February at 13:00. In the official part will include a parade of participants and performances.
Entrance for spectators is free.
International tournament “Moscow stars Wushu” is one of the most important events recognized by European and International Wushu federations. The competition is held in the world’s only specialized complex — Moscow Palace Wushu Department. It is the largest in Russia specialized sports facility for training Wushu. It was built for the center of sport and education “Moscow experimental school” in 2016.
The area is 10.9 thousand square meters. It is suitable for training and competitions of international level. The complex has a multipurpose sports hall martial arts with transformable bleachers, small gym, martial arts, five gyms for General physical training and gym.
