Headline: ASIA/SINGAPORE – Coronavirus: Masses and meetings are indefinitely suspended in the archdiocese of Singapore

Singapore – In the fight against the spread of the coronavirus , the archdiocese of Singapore has decided to suspend the celebration of all masses, Sunday and weekdays, from 15 February until further notice. The archdiocese, which includes 32 churches – has warned the parish priests and the lay communities that also all the other public events that expect a large number of people, such as meetings, faith formation, retreats, and seminars, should be suspended. At the end of last month, the archdiocese had already exempted those who were not in full health, or manifest with flu-like symptoms from the participation in the Mass.
