Rabat (Feb. 13/20). The Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs, Adriana Mejía Hernández, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ambassador Fouad Yazourh, chaired the II meeting of the mixed commission of technical, scientific and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Colombia and the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the meeting the new ‘Bilateral Program for Cooperation and Culture 2020-2022’ was approved, in which seven projects were agreed in the sectors of tourism, handicrafts, security, agriculture, sport, health security and heritage conservation.

This meeting was attended by representatives of the Colombian Embassy in Rabat and, on behalf of the Kingdom of Morocco, directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (APCI), delegates of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, and the Ministry of Interior.

This meeting is a sign of Colombia and Morocco’s commitment to strengthen their cooperative relations and reinforces the bonds of friendship and understanding between the two countries.
