The Vice president meets with representatives of international airlines
The Vice-president of French Polynesia, the minister in charge of international air transport, Teva Rohfritsch, has received, on Monday, the local representatives of the airlines, local and international to focus on prevention measures to combat the entry of the coronavirus in the territory.
All airlines have implemented preventive measures, such as that advocated by the Government, namely, the dissemination of a survey health and the provision of individual protection measures on board.
Serving Asia, Air Tahiti Nui and Air New Zealand remain much more alert on the boarding of chinese nationals. Indeed, the visitors having stayed in China for less than 15 days, and chinese nationals must provide a medical certificate dating from less than 15 days and attesting to the good health of the passenger.
To preserve the effectiveness of these measures and to perfect the trade, a close collaboration between the Vice-presidency and the airlines has been put in place.
The Vice-president thanked the airlines for their involvement and responsiveness during this period of vigilance, to preserve in priority to the security and good health of the Polynesians.
